Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Centre was founded in 2019 with a clear vision to provide a safe, nurturing, and academically strong Islamic learning environment for Muslim children in Canada. Its establishment was driven by the growing community need for an institution that upholds Islamic values while meeting provincial educational standards.

Inspired by the leadership, justice, and integrity of Umar ibn Al-Khattab (al dic), the Centre was envisioned as a place where students develop academically, spiritually, morally, and socially. Between 2019 and 2024, the management focused on building a strong educational foundation by launching Tahfeez and Qur’an programs and working diligently toward provincial accreditation.

This commitment to quality education culminated in full accreditation in 2024, marking a major milestone and the formal establishment of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Academy (OIAA). Since then, OIAA has continued to grow in enrollment, program quality, and community trust.

Today, OIAA stands as a trusted educational institution that partners closely with families to prepare students to become knowledgeable, ethical, and responsible individuals-firmly rooted in their Islamic identity and ready to contribute positively to society.
